It’s sad to think that in today’s society, mental health is still a taboo subject especially in the work place. 😔
There are many different types of mental health illnesses, none of which any person should be ashamed of.
I always said that if I felt I was being discriminated in my work place, due to a mental health illness, then I would leave. No questions asked. 😠
However, it saddens me to think that there are some out there that are in this situation and are not able to just up sticks and leave.
I guess what I’m saying is that you shouldn’t be ashamed, or made to feel you are any less of a person.
You have an illness but it makes you a stronger person. You just have to learn how to manage and OWN!!! That illness. 🤗
Narrow mindedness is not helpful nor should you welcome it. ✖️
I wish that I could wave a magic wand and have every person on this earth become “normal” but think for a second how dull the world would be if we were all the same.
There are more people than you probably think that suffer a mental health illness of some description. 😲
Don’t be ashamed…
be proud, proud that each and every day you battle your own demons and become much stronger. 💪🏼
